Michael Key, is an Emmy Award-winning Make Up Artist, whose credits include much of the Star Trek franchise, (The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager), along with Jingle All the Way, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Coneheads, to name a few. In 1996, Key started the Make-Up Artist Magazine and the International Make-Up Artist Trade Show, (IMATS), in 1997 to connect Make-Up Artists worldwide, providing them with resources, networking opportunities and inspiration.
Established in 2002, IMATS London gives you the tools you need to grow as an Artist in theater, film, TV, fashion and editorial. Classes often range from age-make-up applications and red-carpet glamour to body painting and beards. The IMATS has now grown into the make-up industry’s premier trade show, with six events staged around the world every year in London, New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Atlanta, and Vancouver.
A professional, a student or just someone who has a pure love, passion and attachment to the world of Make Up Artistry, IMATS provides the perfect platform and opportunity to source and sample a diverse range of products, experience demonstrations and the education from expert industry leaders.
